Yesterday, Kaori and I carved our pumpkins while Bruce decorated his with stickers. Carving was a LOT harder than last year because I couldn’t find a store that sold the tool with carving loops on both ends. We ended up buying a kit from Target, had both carving tools break on us, and made do with what we had – steak knives and xactos. 🙂
This was Kaori’s first time carving something other than a jack-o-lantern. She worked the hardest and it paid off.
Bruce decorated his pumpkin with foam stickers of eyes, teeth, hair, etc. I loved watching him. He’s so serious.
He wouldn’t let the stickers overlap so he’d take it off and place them somewhere else on the pumpkin. I believe he gets this from me. -_-“
Happy with his creation. 🙂 Oh, and don’t mind my pigtails and freckles… I was prepping for my costume for tonight!
The only photo of his near completed foam pumpkin before he took them all off…
And decided coloring them with a blue marker was better. 🙂
I chose to carve Nemo and Kaori chose Mickey. The things we do for Bruce. Hehe.
Isn’t the Mickey perfect? I love it! She did a great job, for a first timer!
Nemo pumpkin by me.
Mickey pumpkin by Kaori.
Tonight, we’ll be dressing up and heading to Disneyland’s Halloween Party! 😀 I’m so excited, have you been? I don’t know what to expect but I hear it’s a ton of fun! Can you guess what Bruce will be? Can you guess what Brandon and I will be? 😉
Lots of Smiles,
