Lately

It’s been 6 months since I’ve shared a Lately post! I go through phases of wanting to be super private with our personal lives and then sliding down the other side of the spectrum of wanting to overshare. I haven’t found the right balance yet so I’m doing as I feel at the moment. 🙂

This year is flying by and we’ve been making so many great memories along the way… from weddings to a talent show to a growing belly and many sports activities. Here’s a few highlights from April…

We planted wildflowers during Spring break and they’re sprouting! Fingers crossed they grow into pretty flowers… since I still got that black thumb. 😉

On Brandon’s birthday, we found the sweetest dog running around in the streets. Brandon opened his door and he hopped right in. Bruce wanted to keep him and name him Friendly but we found the owner an hour later. His fur is still all over my passenger seat so we’re reminded of him every day. 🙂 Hope he’s doing well!

We FINALLY began working on the house again, starting with Bruce’s room. We’re hoping to get phase 1 complete this weekend so we can start working on Baby 2’s room. I’ve been posting IG stories as we go if you’d like to follow along/give me advice. 😉

And the biggest news… Brandon got a job closer to home (from a 2 hour commute to less than 10 minutes!!) so we’re all enjoying the extra time he gets to spend with us! 😀
