I’m sure you’ve noticed I’ve been sharing a lot more personal stories compared to My Dear Darling penguin updates lately. I had intended to take a lot of custom orders this year – they’re my favorite projects! Unfortunately, we had a lot of unexpected changes and I didn’t want to commit to projects not knowing if I’d be able to finish them in a timely manner.
Brandon moved up to San Francisco for a great job opportunity and we decided to stay put, at least until Baby Bear finished his school year. He’ll be visiting almost every weekend but his absence during the week means I’m a full-time mama without Brandon’s help… and the fact is, he was/is a BIG help!
So I’ll be taking it slow as I get use to this new schedule. I have a lot of fears (for both my business and as a mother) but I’m learning to go with the flow, accepting whatever may come my way and gracefully reacting. At least, attempting to. 😉
