Can I send a note along with my gift?
Yes! 🙂 I would be more than happy to send your note to the recipient along with your gift. Please add the note during checkout or you can email it to

When will I receive my order?
All ready-made gifts will be shipped out within 2 business days of completed payment transaction unless otherwise noted. All personalized gifts will be shipped out as soon as your gift is completed. An estimated ship date will be sent to you by email once a the payment transaction is complete.

Domestic shipments will take 3 to 7 days and international shipments will take 2 to 6 weeks unless otherwise noted.

All packages will be shipped using the United States Postal Service and My Dear Darling is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We ship all gifts from California to anywhere there is an address. Please make sure the shipping address is correct on your PayPal account or transaction. Your orders will be shipped to your PayPal mailing address.

Please note: Recipients are responsible for customs fees for international orders.

What methods of payments do you accept?
My Dear Darling accepts PayPal only. You can use your Visa, MasterCard, Discover or AMEX through PayPal even if you are not a registered PayPal member.

Please note: If your ordering from a California address, you will be charged a 9% sales tax on all products. Other states will not be charged sales tax.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?
We do not offer any refunds or exchanges on any personalized gifts. However, if a ready-made item is damaged, an exchange may be made for the same item. (Example: a mug cup for a mug cup)

Can you make a penguin plush with { fill in the blank } ?
Yes! 🙂 Well, most of the time, the answer will be yes. Once you decide how you’d like to personalize your penguin plush or any personalizable item, I will try my best to create a one-of-a-kind gift for you.

How do I order a personalized gift?
You can purchase a personalized gift deposit here. If the deposit is SOLD OUT, please check the personalization status on our homepage here for the next scheduled date of openings. Please keep in mind that spaces fill up pretty fast. Once you have received confirmation that I will be working with you, please follow the directions below:

1. Email your design ideas.
2. Approve your digital mock up.
3. Complete payment transaction.
4. Receive a shipment confirmation.
5. Hug your darling gift as soon as it arrives. 😉

Please note that I will not be able to work with everyone who emails me. This is a first-come-first-serve basis. Because I handcraft all the personalizable gifts myself, I am unable to create and take in every client. I apologize for any inconvenience but I look forward to working with you soon! 🙂

How much are personalization charges?

How do we protect your information? We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction,
your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information.
